Jeep Safari

The safari is made in Toyota jeeps, a common means of public transport in the region, and takes us to the beautiful waterfalls of Primavera, located in the interior of southern Pernambuco, an important sugar-producing region. On Saturdays there is a brief stop at the Primavera street market. The trip follows dirt tracks through the sugar plantations with a visit to a 'casa de farinha', where the traditional manioc flour is ground. We stop to try sugar cane juice before bathing in the waterfalls. Lunch is served nearby.
