Beach Buggy Tour

A day full of excitement. The Genipabu is the most exciting day excursion you can take. You will sense it immediately the driver of the buggy races round the fantastic sand dunes surrounding the village of Genipabu. He’ll turn round to laugh and ask ‘you want it more exciting or not?’ to see if he can show off his best driving skills or cool it a bit. The choice is yours!
This day is more than a trek through the dunes. The excursion begins in the early morning at your hotel where after breakfast you travel to the ferry that will take you across the wide Potengy river. You are then immediately outside the city and see pretty villages such as Redinha and Genipabu, with their countless opportunities for you to join in with some sport. Try sandboarding from a dune, for example! The slider, a cable stretched from a high dune across a lagoon, is also spectacular: you sit on a seat and experience the quick blast of cold air as you fly past over the secluded inner lake (optional, approx. €1 per go).
You will also cross in a much more traditional manner the Ceara-Mirin river, on a sort of raft that provides just enough room for a buggy and passengers.
Lunch (not included) is taken at Jacuma Beach, where you can also go for a dive in the sea.
The Genipabu tour ends in a relaxed way in the delightful area around Pitangi where you can also have a swim, before heading back for Natal at around 15.30.
