3-day trip Rio de Janeiro

Day 1 (daily departures)
Flight from Natal to Rio de Janeiro. Our travel rep will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel in the district of the Copacabana. And because your eyes and ears won’t believe you, we leave you to enjoy the rest of the day soaking up the typically Brazilian beach culture.

Day 2
After breakfast you are collected for a jeep ride through the forest of Rio, ending on top of the Corcovado where, like the statue of Christ, you look out over the city beneath. Then a return by jeep via the forest and along the many city beaches in the afternoon, so that you have the rest of the evening free to spend as you like.

Day 3
A free day. There are many excursions to choose from, including a boat trip across the bay or a visit to the Rio nightlife with a lively samba show.Or a football match in the Mecca of Brazil. The flight back to Natal is in the early evening. On arrival you will be escorted back to your hotel.

RIO DE JANEIRO
Rio de Janeiro, the name alone sets people’s fantasies alight. The city of sand, sea, and samba also boasts football and carnival, as well as being perhaps the most beautifully located metropolis in the world. Beaches stretch as far as the eye can see, the city bordered by tropical rain forest, mountains and bays spotted with islands. The famous Sugarloaf Mountain by the coast and the statue of Christ who watches and protects the city from his place on Corcovado. Rio is also home to a few players who have also played in Holland, such as Ronaldo and Romario: here they played in the biggest football stadium in the world: the famous Rio Maracana. Rio, in brief, is magical and vibrant, 24 hours per day. When the sun shines – which is every day – then the beaches famed in song such as Ipanema and Copacaba are alive with activities. Beautiful people playing foot volleyball, sunbathing or surfing to the constant rhythm of the samba, before heading into town at the end of the afternoon where the boulevards stage a massive social event of flirting. As evening falls, the restaurants are bulging and Rio eats the best that land and sea have to offer. But even after that, still no one goes home, because the singing and dancing starts as the Cariocas – the inhabitants of Rio – enjoy life to the full. It seems like the city that never sleeps and why should it? Feel the rhythm of Rio and discover that you were born in the wrong place.
