Total Brazil’ is just the right name for this fantastic 16-day round trip that takes you to the absolute high spots of this fascinating country. Starting in a great location and much celebrated metropolis of Rio de Janeiro, the city of beaches, samba, carnival and football. You will also visit the beautiful waterfalls of Iguacu and you stay four days in the largest and most beautiful tropical rainforest in the world: the Amazon.

Day 1 Amsterdam - Fortaleza or Natal (approx 7.400km)
Today you fly from Amsterdam to Fortaleza or Natal. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our tour guide.

Day 2 Natal/Fortaleza - Rio de Janeiro (approx. 1.900km)
(Breakfast included) flight to Rio de Janeiro. You will be met at the airport by your tour guide who will escort you to your hotel near to the Copacabana, a place to astound your eyes and ears. The rest of the day is free for you to experience this typical Brazilian beach culture.

Day 3 Rio de Janeiro
Today, after breakfast (included) pick up for a trip through the Tijuca forest of Rio, which eventually ends at the top of Corcovado where like the statue of Christ, you can watch over the city. In the afternoon you return to your hotel through the forest and along the many city beaches. You have the rest of the evening completely to self-completion.

Day 4 Rio de Janeiro
Today you have a day off. If you wish to take further trips, such as a boat trip across the bay or a visit to night time Rio including a spectacular samba show, please contact your tour guide, who will provide you with details of everything there is to experience. (Breakfast included)

Day 5 Rio de Janeiro - Foz do Iguacu (approx. 1.200km)
Today you fly after breakfast (included) to Foz do Iguaçu, the border with Argentina. Upon arrival check into your hotel and you have the rest of the day off to prepare for the spectacle that awaits the next day.

Day 6 Foz do Iguacu
After an early breakfast (included), you discover the waterfalls of Foz do Iguaçu. Visit this beautiful rugged Argentine side with its magnificent views. Along the way you enjoy even the middle of this strange world in a traditional local lunch (included).

Day 7 Foz do Iguacu
Today you have a day off. If you wish to take further trips, such as a boat trip or visit the Brazilian side of the waterfall, please contact your tour guide, who will provide you with details of everything there is to experience. (Breakfast included)

Day 8 Foz do Iguacu - Manaus - Amazon (approx. 2.400km)
And if that were not enough, you fly today to the largest tropical rainforest in the world: the Amazon. After arriving in the capital Manaus you will be transferred by boat in about 40 minutes to arrive at the Tiwa Resort. Depending on your arrival you will start that same afternoon with the unforgettable jungle through your first jungle walk in the Tiwa reserve. (Lunch and dinner included) The Tiwa Resort has a great kitchen that lets you experience the local cuisine of Amazon.

Day 9 Amazon
(Breakfast included) This day is all about the meeting between the Yellow and Black River as part of the Amazon. It is so wonderful to see how the point where two rivers meet, the water on one side completely yellow and the other all black colored. You departs' in de morning by boat from the pier of the Tiwa Resort. The tour will take you to a traditional river home residents (caboclos) and a visit to the famous rubbermusuem of the Amazon. You are back to the Tiwa (late) lunch (included). At the end of the day pull out again for the adventurous piranha fish and then go into the dark river to spot crocodiles in their natural habitat. It sounds scary, but it is memorable if you see orange-red eyes light up in the beam of the flashlight. Or if the crocodile is placed in your hands by the guide! Then return for the night and don't worry: the crocodiles are in principle not in your room. Dinner included.
